Limp joke site antifurrycoalition.org, which we noticed then promptly forgot about two years ago, and whose creators are only too well-known to us, has suddenly acquired a new lease of life as it appears to have come to the attention of a fresh round of furs who missed it first time and seem to be getting a little het up about it.

Meatspace miscreant Charles Bucchioni, known among Internet boy ass-trolling communities as Bucky Bunny, is awaiting release from the cold iron bars of Queens County until such time as he appears for his trial. Those joining us can read the details of his arrest, the uniquely pathetic origin of this drama, this opinion piece about the mess, or the rough outline of the whole debacle distorted and run through HURR HURR LOLLERVISION^TM. Sad story short the kid (with a history of theft and skipping rent) is welcomed into a home by Quentin Coyote who seems to be happy to take sweet tard ass in lieu of rent money. Surprise, Bucky steals their toys and runs away, leading to an Internet Tough Guy match among the violence furry set to see who’d inflict the most damage if Bucky happens to wander by Skokie, Illinois or Casper, Wyoming. Currently he’s in the custody of the NYPD who caught him attempting to break into Nothingkat’s apartment, while NK was home. I suppose his intention was to sneak in through the back door and demand NK fuck him in the ass in exchange for free room, I don’t know. Currently he’s wanted in three states for theft and by the National Guard for skipping AWOL.

Should mommy or daddy or his next Internet fuckbuddy help him post bail it will be really, really funny.

Via fchan ex-staff Freehaven, Gravecat, and Samiya. Back around 2005 Freehaven handed control of over-moderated, under-edited furry porn repository fchan over to wonder duo Xenofur and Nadia. Nadia quickly sank to the depths of infamy for overzealous petty slapping of minor infractions and general psycho hosebeast-ness. Users eventually wore Nadia down, and she handed the administration over to social misfit Xenofur, who officially has been running the site since that day. This was pretty much fine, as Xenofur didn’t do much more than add names to the DNP and smack the coder/host in the head whenever he destroyed the server.

Raven, running the day to day service on the site and doing an admirable job of it, one day asked why Nadia still had operator status on the IRC channel. After all, Nadia didn’t have anything to do with the site, and was just a friend, right? Nadia is thus de-opped, and last night in retaliation grabs control of the entire damn site. Xeno admits Nadia was running everything through him, and the actual powers afforded to him had been little more than antagonizing Arcturus. Three mods quit in a four hour verbal suck beating, and three temporary slaves have been deputized in their places.

“The Skiltaire changed me.” The soliloquy of a Vietnam vet who is talking about his D&D buddies. This is the supposed call to arms directed at all furries, from the greymuzzled gaymuzzled furry pornsmith Roci Stone, titled an open letter to the furry community. He sadly writes this piece in the style of gay furry fiction and without irony becomes exactly the thing he’s trying to destroy:

I’d like to sharpen my claws on some of these elitist, snobbish, (in no particular order) Fur Suit-ers, Tin-plated Convention “gods", Hucksters, “Comic Artists", mailing list Nazis, and (tossing bricks at my own glass house) Furry Porn Writers and Collectors who are more interested in their threads of the Furry fabric then they are in the cloth as a whole. When you pull long enough and hard enough on the warp and the weft of a fabric, it invariably unravels. This is what has happened, leaving holes for people who don’t like us to crawl into and to exploit.

Elitist, snobby, and above all oh-so-easy to dismantle, Roci is a Sonic fan in his 40s begging his 18 year old peers from Yiffstar and FurAffinity to be less conspicuous targets. The man stands head and shoulders above the fetish culture - furry jerk stories are a dime a dozen, but a flowery worded diatribe against pretty much everyone on the planet who has an opinion on fursuits is something pretty special. That he’s doing exactly the opposite of what he tried so hard to do is pretty hard to accept, but if he’s trolling, then he still writes gay furry fap material and really how does one elevate themselves from that? His journal is a collection of tl;dr whinging rants of the same caliber.

What we as a group must now advocate ever more strongly and forcefully is a doctrine of active self-defense. When we are attacked with lies, we must take up the sword and buckler of truth, no matter how small the buckler might be, nor how dull the edge of the sword might seem. For too long, Furries have been silent in the face of lies, slanders, libels, and misinformation.

It has been our silence and our acquiescence in the face of these evils that has planted them as seeds of truth in the minds of others. By our inaction, and lack of reaction, we have grown us up a garden of weeds, rather than a corner of Eden, wherein we should fashion for ourselves to stand.

There are a lot of words in this essay. And I mean, a lot of words, all of which contribute a little part toward embarassing the culture and offering us a little amusement in seeing the beauty of unintentional irony.

Damaratus and Preyfar meanwhile make a hobby of mistaking Arcturus’ boyfriend for Weasel. SMILING AND NOW THEY’RE WORKING TOGETHER GOD THIS IS A CONSPIRACY.
